How to patch a tube
How to lube your chain
Details
- Remove the tube from the rim using tyre levers (plastic)
- Inflate the tube and submerge in a bucket/tub of water to find where the air is leaking (you will see tiny air bubbles coming out of the tube)
- Dry the area around the puncture
- Use the metal rasp or sandpaper to buff the area around the puncture and wipe of remaining residue
- Apply the rubber solution to an area slightly bigger than the size of the patch and allow to dry fully
- Remove the foil part from the patch then apply and press down on the puncture for about 30 seconds
- Check inside of tyre for any thorns or sharp objects and remove before re-inserting tube
